When you feel like you aren’t good enough.

We all get those feelings, that we aren’t loved or appreciated or that we work our very hardest to try and make someone happy but all they do is reply in a series of grunts. But, don’t be disheartened because having a relationship of any sort needs a bit of give and take. You don’t always feel 100% all the time and you have to remember that this is the same for other people as well. Just because you feel tip top and positive doesn’t mean that you can also change someone else’s mood for the better.

But, and this is a big but. Remember that you shouldn’t be the only one putting the effort in and if it begins to feel like this with a friend, or a colleague or anyone really don’t feel bad about confronting them on it. You are good enough and you do deserve love and shouldn’t be used or taken for granted. And even if you are happy to serve you should remember not to work too hard or else you’ll burn out.

Imagine your life is a corn on the cob and every kernel is a person you have seen or walked past. Yes, not every single drop in that pool is great but you wouldn’t throw the whole corn on the cob away just because of a few kernels you didn’t like. The same goes with your life. Don’t feel down because one bad thing happened in your day when all these other great things happened on that day as well. On the other hand, you need to be the positivity in other peoples lives to remind them that they are doing great. living in a society that exists to tear people down we need to work extra hard to end the cycle of sadness.
